 It's in the GROMIT Galaxy.

Why is this important?  Well, the GROMIT Galaxy has everything that is necessary to have a good home for a planet.

The Gromit Galaxy is a spiral galaxy with a very dense core, now the location of the planet is important here because if it was in the core it wouldn't be habitable for humans because the gravity and energy levels are extremely too deadly for humans, this planet is on the disk part, which is ideal for humans like you and me... which means THE LOCATION OF THE PLANET INSIDE OF THE GALAXY MEANS IT'S HOSPITABLE 

Inside of the Gromit galaxy are 8 planets, and they are on the west side of the sun, planet #8677309 is third to the left of the Sun, which helps regulate the temperature.  It gets enough heat not to burn, but not too little to freeze either.  The climate is relatively temperate and easy to live in.

The Romans didn't have running water until they built aqueducts... THIS PLANET HAS IT NATURALLY.  

This planet has the existence of running water as well as Ice and some grass in certain areas.  The atmosphere of the planet also allows for it to rain, as well as it's distance

It's atmosphere helps to protect the planet from harmful ultraviolet radiation and a lot of various other meteorites and protects the planet from other harmful things and chemicals.

 The average surface temperature is 15 C and the Max Surface Temp is 58 C and the Minimum Surface Temp is -89 C  This matters because you don't want you or your planet to burn or freeze.

This planet does indeed have it's own gravitational forces as well as electromagnetic forces which help to keep everything in it's place.  It has just enough gravitational pull so that nobody floats unless they want to but not too little that people sort of fly away.
